This is the first week of its kind to celebrate the success of Apprenticeships* across England. The week seeks to raise the profile of Apprenticeships and encourage more employers to take on apprentices whilst paying tribute to the achievements of employers and apprentices so far and explaining the key role that Apprenticeships are playing in today's world.
There will be a variety of events taking place across the country that we invite you to attend, get involved in, or host your own.
Tuesday February 26th, 2008, All Day | BAWA, Bristol
The conference will launch "Learning is the Business" a regional publication with case studies which will incorporate group activities on action planning. There will be an opportunity to hear from employers and network, to share ideas and participate in workshops covering equal opportunities, learning and organising, the Skills pledge, Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) and redundancy support work.
