Adult Learners’ Week is a unique opportunity to run or promote your learning projects. The week-long campaign falls in May - Saturday 17 to Friday 23 May 2008.
Every year, ALW helps inspire thousands of people to see what learning could do for them, offering them the chance to catch up on skills they’ve missed out on in the past, or develop themselves for the future.
The annual learning-fest includes high-profile media campaigns, conferences, workplace events and parliamentary activity.

An invitation for learners to join NIACE at this year's Learning at Work Day event for Adult Learners' Week 2008 which will be on the theme: What makes learning at work, work?
Supported by the European Social Fund and the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills and now in its 17th year, Adult Learners' Week is the UK's largest festival of learning and the campaign enjoys unprecedented levels of support.
Thursday May 22nd, 2008, All Day | Across England
National Learning at Work Day, the biggest annual celebration of workplace learning, will take place on Thursday 22 May 2008. It is run by the Campaign for Learning as part of Adult Learners Week (17 – 23 May).
Friday May 23rd, 2008, 10.00 am to 12.30pm | Cresset, Bretton Centre
The purpose of the strategy is to reduce duplication; to align funding and to identify and address gaps in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) provision.
