As part of the Skills for Life strategy, the core curricula for adult literacy, numeracy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is based on the national standards for adult literacy and numeracy at Entry level, Level 1 and Level 2.
A new portal for ESOL learners from Tribal CTAD offers support in Polish, Mandarin and Urdu, as well as English. It contains world class learning materials which users can access for free for three months.
